About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 2 North Respiratory medicine Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Have been in hospital for over a week. I came over to ED and was seen very quickly due to low oxygen. I spent 4 days in ED and then was moved to 2 North. 

My stay has been good so far, the nurses and doctors have been helpful. I am in a double side room beside a window and it can be cold sometimes with a draught coming through.

We apologise you had to wait in ED for 4 days until the ward could accommodate you. This is certainly too long and you should have been accommodated on the ward within 4 to 6 hours. we hope you are recovering well.
