"Helped me walk again without a walker"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Physiotherapy

(as a carer),

After a long haul flight from Australia, I developed what I thought was Sciatica. After three visits with an Osteopath who had fixed it in the past I eventually had a visit from a lovely lady named Rocio who works in physio at Henlet Health East Kilbride.

She gave me lots of hands on treatment and great exercises. Lots of great tips to assist me getting out of bed.

It appears that something in my buttocks were inflamed.

With the added help of some accompanying  treatment of constant exercise I finally got relief.

I am able to walk again without a walker.

I gratefully appreciate the help I got, the hours of work Rocio gave me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.

It is fantastic to hear that with the assistance of Rocio and the commitment to therapy from yourself that you have made such a good recovery.

I will be sure to share this feedback with Rocio and the East Kilbride team who will be really happy to hear that the work they do is contributing to such positive outcomes.

Nicola, South Community Physiotherapy Lead
