I had my 12 week scan around 8 weeks ago and it wasn’t a nice experience at all. The nurse was really unfriendly and the appointment felt very clinical. The nurse didn’t speak much and was very matter a fact. At the end I felt really disheartened.
I was therefore not looking forward to my 20 week scan. However, as soon as we arrived the nurse greeted us and I could tell she was really lovely. She was so friendly and spoke to us the full way through the appointment. She explained everything clearly and was so compassionate and caring. I couldn’t believe the difference this made and she really made this experience really special for us.
It’s amazing how much someone’s attitude and commitment can really make a difference and I’m really grateful for her.
