"How do you get an appointment?! "

About: The Lawson Practice

The clinical staff here have always been really great-professional, reassuring, efficient.

But the system to book an appointment is honestly dreadful!

"Fill out this online form-but only during certain hours of the day"

"Actually we can book that over the phone-oh no we can't, its on a different system"

I've tried to book 2 routine but time sensitive appointments this week and still don't have either. How are people meant to access basic healthcare with all these hurdles?!

Let me clarify: Our online booking system is designed to offer convenience - (request an appointment, sick note prescriptions, etc) but we understand it has limitations (it is not accessible to everyone). You can certainly call the practice or come in person to book an appointment, and we have experienced staff available to assist you.

Our primary goal is to make healthcare easily accessible to all our patients, and we appreciate your feedback in helping us improve our services.
