(as the patient),

I was admitted recently with terrible pain in my upper stomach and side and I didn’t know what was wrong.

I came to A&E and I was quickly seen by the surgeon who diagnosed gallstones. I was then admitted again, and this time I had acute cholecystitis and was in hospital again. From then until now, I was in lots of pain and on multiple doses of antibiotics.
