"PTSD and EMDR"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

This is my second time using inclusion talking therapy, first being for CBT . My therapist was absolutely amazing, she suggested EMDR for my PTSD which I was sceptical about but gave it a go and I couldn't believe the results, its hard bringing up past trauma and can be quite emotional but to have that memory now clouded and not impacting on my everyday life is like having a weight lifted off my shoulders, gives me a hope to a better future and looking forward to life.

So very grateful for this wonderful service, thank you.

Hi Peggy37,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to us.

It is great to see that you returned to us for therapy showing that it was beneficial to you the first time. It is great to hear that EMDR worked for you and it is amazing to hear that the work you have put in has led to a weight being lifted off your shoulders and that you are now hopeful for the future.

Thank you for the kind words regarding Inclusion Thurrock, we hope that others reading about your experience will be encouraged to approach our service if needed.

Best wishes,

Olivia
