My 87 year old mother went to the Mater ED a few days ago after suddenly becoming confused.

I would like to commend the team in the Mater ED for their care. Dr Ben was great - he took time to listen to us and ensured mum had all the right tests. When the results came through he communicated them clearly to us both and involved us in the plan of what to do next.

Despite how busy they were I was impressed at how consistently courteous and kind all the staff were. The reassurance provided by the team in the Mater allowed us to get her home and look after her and I am glad to say that my mum is pretty much back to her usual self again.

Please pass our thanks to the whole team.
