"Care of my mum in Ward A12"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

My lovely mum was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour 12 weeks ago. She was then re admitted to Ward A12 three weeks ago for end of life care. The care my mum received and the support my family received was second to none and we couldn’t have asked for any nicer people to take care of mum in the last few weeks of her life.

From the lady who empties the bins, the man with the water and tea , the lovely nurses and doctors and everyone involved within the ward the experience was excellent especially as it was such  a hard time for us as a family.  We would like to express our gratitude to Ward 12A for looking after us all and we are very grateful.

Thank you for your kind words especially at this difficult time. I am glad you felt supported by the team on A12 and it is very much inclusive of all staff.

I will share this with everyone and we will continue to provide best care to our patients and their families.

Thank you again
