My 5 year old child has been waiting for 4+ months to be seen, now the appointment got cancelled over the phone.
I was told they would get in touch to rearrange as soon as possible, but they couldn’t even tell me to expect days or weeks or months or a year.
I was wondering if our referral could be forward to another NHS provider, again no advice or information was given.
I’ve grown to accept that even a young child has to wait ages for a specialist review in the NHS. However, I thought I still could expect to be at least informed about my options - I might have been wrong
