Following a heart attack I was feeling fragile, afraid to exercise and worried about returning to work. The Craigavon Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme has been a life changing experience.
The skilled and experienced team took the class step-by-step through an exercise plan and provided information on managing heart conditions, diet and nutrition and stress management. I left this programme with the confidence to exercise regularly in a safe and controlled manner, with a better understanding of how to manage my condition, with a better understanding of diet and its impact on the heart and with the confidence to return to work and continue to be a productive member of society.
This programme is invaluable and I would recommend anyone with any type of heart condition to attend it.
