I gave birth two weeks ago after a long and painful process and once I needed an induction. I was very scared and didn't know what to expect. On the first night I found a fantastic midwife who helped me and took care of me, always keeping me up to date and informing me of every step. She gave me the peace I needed. I never felt alone during the first step (insert a baloon).
During the whole process I also find a good care of another midwife who also helped me a lot. Unfortunately, things went bad as I needed an urgent c-section during an infection quickly picked up in the Labour ward. Again I have only good words and I am so thankful for the doctors , nurses and midwives who helped me during the operation. They act quickly and extremely kind .They made sure everything was done properly and always telling me every step.
When the operation finished I was struggling with my blood pressure (it was very low), I had an amazing nurse trying everything she could to put me back on track , (she even prepared me a toast at the end) during this time the doctors were coming to check to make sure I was getting there. When I did I got the visit of all of them wishing us (my husband , my baby boy and me ) all the best. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. They made sure I had a safe delivery and my baby was healthy.
Back to Victoria Ward (again) after the surgery I had an amazing midwife who touched my heart . She helped me during my first day, she even gave me shower. I am so thankful for all the team I found. I really had a good experience.
Thank you very much to the team, I’ll never forget you.
"Very positive experience"
