When I arrived at The Dame Carol Detoxification Service, I was feeling anxious with lots of different emotions such as feeling angry and apprehensive. The staff made me feel welcomed. Overtime, I started to mellow out, and I received reassurance from the staff that I am in safe hands.
Since being here, I have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the non pressured experience. The staff were sensitive towards my needs. My anxiety levels reduced, which turned into positive thoughts, I am feeling pleased that I have come here, as I am on the road to recovery. I have enjoyed my entire stay so far with the other clients and staff.
I enjoyed the meditation, the CA meeting was good. I have enjoyed the group therapy, they have helped me, looking forward to attending more this week.
I enjoyed the bonding when playing games with staff and other clients, which I enjoyed immensely.
It would be good to have a time to vent, to be able to off load your feelings. It would be good to do this in the morning meeting, which the staff are going to look into start doing.
