During my stay at The Dame Carol Detoxification Service, upon arrival I was feeling nervous. Disappointed that had to stay in my room due to blowing alcohol. It was a shame not being able to smoke, instead I smoked a vape.
The staff are lovely. Any problems, the staff were always approachable. The food is nice.
I have enjoyed doing the meditation group, the group therapy work book is good too. The staff are brilliant with activities, playing games.
Although there are set times for the groups, in between times can be boring. We are allowed our phones, so can have a browse to keep us entertained. There is lack of exercise. It would be nice to be able to go for a walk.
I enjoyed the NA and CA meetings as people come in. I didn't enjoy the AA as nobody comes in.
