I had an accident, resulting in a deep wound. Although it was near the end of the working day and the initial contact was by phone, the receptionist recognised the seriousness of the situation and made an immediate appointment with the nurse. Although she might have been capable of treating it, she recommended I go to A&E after replacing the skin flap (ouch) and loosely dressing the wound. This was an excellent judgement as it required many stitches and x-rays to see if bones had been broken.
The follow up care, redressing and stitch removal, was done with incredible attention to detail humour and skill.
Because of this, the wound has completely healed with minimal scarring.
Thanks for your care.
"Great assessment and follow up"
