Waited 3/4 hours to be seen with chronic back pain after fall. Was told it was torn ligaments, no offer of X-ray, returned 4 days later with a letter from my GP recommending an X-ray, another 3/4 hour wait in agony to be told for the second time torn ligaments, eventually the “doctor” sent me for X-ray which
resulted in a back fracture.
Absolutely disgusting, triage wasn’t much better, told me to go in the waiting room and she would bring me painkillers, she did not and I was in so much pain I didn’t have the strength to remind her.
X-ray staff were no better, no sympathy shown whatsoever.
Will I use A&E at Redditch again I would say 100% No
