About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

Over the last two weeks I have been seen by the Glaucoma team at Heavitree Hospital, the West of England Eye Unit including the Emergency Eye Unit and Eye Day Case Unit, as well as the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit.

I have experienced the NHS at its very best and have been very impressed by the care I have received at every stage. From receptionists to surgeons and everyone in between, I was treated with care and compassion, and given excellent clinical care despite the obvious busyness and pressure on the system.

Thank you all so much, you are all doing an incredible job and you make me proud to work for the NHS.
