Referred here by 111 online for an injury, man at reception was lovely and polite, friendly and checked me in. Screened to be checked by a rude nurse practitioner who said I shouldn't be there as my injury was longer than 3 days old and it was an urgent centre, which I understand but bearing in mind I was told to attend Wansbeck by 111 online. Told my injury did not meet criteria for any x-ray (again I'd understand, if I wasn't told in such a rude manner) and asked "what do I think I've done"... That's why I'm there. Was made to feel like being in the room with me was a waste of her time as she yanked the door handle open and stormed out the room leaving me in there still to put my shoe and socks back on. The whole experience with the nurse practitioner was patronising, I wouldn't have attended if I wasn't told to, and I certainly don't wish to return if that's the service received.
