I had to get my gallbladder removed and a month later was told it was cancerous. I had 7 months of chemo.
I kept as active as possible, but was still very tired.
After my treatment finished I asked to join the activity class through Macmillan, to build up my energy level and keep me active.
The video zoom class was great that you didn’t have to leave the house. Just log on once a week at a set time and day. It was brilliant, I loved it from the start.
Joe was the instructor. He was absolutely amazing. From his IT skills to his teaching skills. He is so fantastic. The exercises really helped me a lot, and I found I had more energy and was more active.
Unfortunately my cancer has returned and it is terminal now. But I am going keep exercising as long as I as I now love it so much. Thanks to Joe.
