I have suffered depression for many years, off and on medication. I always thought I was to blame for everything that went wrong, I worked and laughed but I was was hurting inside.
I felt I was bullied into a constructive dismissal at the point I asked to be paid off, once this happened, I had no friends, no colleagues and became lonely.
I contacted a survivors charity to let them know I was a survivor of childhood trauma. I became very depressed anxious and frustrated. My GP was very caring and made contact with inclusion
My counsellor was very supportive and patient. She understood my rumbling on and changing conversation mid flow and helped me to understand myself. I brought trauma up that I had locked away, my course is now complete.
"Helped me to understand myself"
