Had an appointment with GP regarding my foot.
I got to the surgery on time for my appointment but while waiting for my turn, a name was called but no one answered, until I realised it might have been my name mispronouced. I know sometime it is difficult to pronounce my name but this time it was not even closed to the right pronunciation.
Anyway, I went to see the doctor and try to clarify if it was me they were calling. I was sent back to the waiting room and not in a friendly way. Finally after a phone call to confirm it was me, I got to see the doctor who quickly diagnosed my problem and treated my problem by printing pages of instructions from some website.
I thought a doctor's job was to deal with human being. I feel they did not show any compassion,or kindness. I am in my 50s and rarely visit a doctor, I was expecting to be thoroughly examined.
As I left the office I felt so let down by the system and the people working for the service. I lost trust and confidence in professionel health care system. No reasons can justify to be treated that way. This time there will be no clapping for the NHS staff.
