"A massive THUMBS UP!"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

When I first came to ORB, I didn't know what to expect at all

With all the support from the staff and especially my keyworker, Mani, I found it easy to engage within groups

The fact that groups are fairly small makes the therapy more personal and helpful. I found myself opening up more and more. The sessions made me think and reflect on myself and my destructive behaviour.

Café on Friday - at first I was very shy and was like "What am I doing here?" but I gave it a go and right now it's one of my favourites. It's very casual and people are very friendly, I even made some really good friends.

The greatest thing about interacting with other people at ORB is the fact that we're all in the same boat and can understand each others problems more than anyone else. There is no judgement, instead there is understanding plus it's all very informal so there's no reason to stress about.

One-to-one sessions with my keyworker, Mani, are very helpful too......and professional!

All in all, ORB - massive THUMBS UP!

From my experience, it really works!
