"Heavy debilitating periods"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I recently saw Dr Sockolova (consultant gynaecologist) at University hospital Ayr in her extra clinic along with Katrina (nurse)

I was seeing Dr Sockolova to review my case because my previous consultant had moved on and she had taken over my case. I was eager to have fresh and expert eyes look over my case.

I was really pleased to be able to sit down and have my case heard and listened to for what I feel was the first time in so many years. Her kindness, compassion and understanding was exemplary. I felt totally at ease with her and the nurse (Katrina)

I have been suffering for the best part of 6 years and I have come home today and can see light and remedy to my condition. I feel a sense of relief and happiness having had my consultation today, I now have a clear and precise treatment plan in place going forward.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank not just Dr Sockolova but also Katrina for their understanding and for taking me through things step by step.
