This hospital claims to prioritise their customer experience, however I feel ignored and forgotten about.
I live about 2 hours from the hospital (I don't drive so have to reply on public transport to get me there despite having hip issues). My letter said I was to go for a hip and knee CT scan in June. I took the day off work, made the 4 hour round trip only for them to say could I come back in for another scan as there was a mistake and they only did the hip!
So I made the trip again. Since been back for an MRI as well.
I was waiting for my results in September I got a letter saying sorry but they have had to cancel my consultation. A consultation I never knew I had as they didn't send a letter! So I tried to rearrange and was told they only do the young adult hip clinic once a month.
Two weeks ago I got a letter saying I have an appointment in October but to ring up to find out what time. I have tried calling within office hours multiple times a day for the past 2 weeks and there has been no answer.
Nobody ever answers the phone. This service is among the worst I have ever received. I am left not knowing if I even have an appointment or not and I can't risk the 4 hour trip with a lot of walking pain for nothing. I am extremely anxious and agitated as a result of the lack of care.
