I want to say thank you to Hairmyres Hospital. I was in for a urine infection because I was passing blood and because I am on warfarin - I panicked because I was worried about that and I got in and I was put into the admittance ward and then from there down to ward 18.
I was in a week, I went in via ambulance - the ambulance staff and everyone was magic, even the physiotherapist, I couldn’t fault them in any way and I think they deserve the wages they’re wanting, they do deserve it, in my view. They were very caring and they were awful nice at speaking to you. The ones that gave me an x-ray they were really nice too.
The people that come into hospital they were nice, they chatted away to you and it was very nice. Nobody likes to go into hospital but that is the hospital.
I was then sent up to Wishaw and they were very nice there as well, they thought I was needed a blood transfusion but it didn’t come to that and they were really nice as well there, I was in ward 18 there but spent most of my week in Hairmyres Hospital.
