"Staff go the extra mile"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Discharge Lounge University Hospital Ayr / Urology

(as a service user),

I had to have my left kidney removed due to tumour. Initially this was a huge shock as I am normally very healthy. From beginning to end all I can say is my care and treatment was outstanding in every respect. Even in the discharge suite which I did not know existed, everything was first class. To name all the people involved who were looking after me would take too long and I would run out of superlatives. All I can say is I am home and feeling better every day.

To say the staff go the extra mile would be an understatement. Well done Ayr Hospital. You are all a credit to yourselves and the NHS.
