I went to the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. I was getting a pace maker fitted. There was no problems, it was very very good, I have no complaints at all, everyone was very courteous and kind and seemed to be good at their jobs and I’m still here! That’s about it! I can’t say anything bad at all, they are all friendly and good at their job.
It was done in the morning, and I was out the same night. I was still awake and could hear what they were doing but I couldn’t see, they just use a local anaesthetic. They just batted on with it and got it done they didn’t talk me through the process, which was fine with me as long as it’s all done successfully and as far as I know it’s alright, I’m waiting to find out when to go for a check up, I think they said it would be 6 weeks. Everyone told me I’d feel like a new man once I have my pacemaker, I don’t just yet but maybe it’ll come with time.
