My health visitor Pat went over and above for me and my son. I was feeling very stressed and couldn’t figure out why my son was so unsettled all the time and had rash on his face. Pat noticed and got him on new cows allergy milk and it’s been like day and night for my baby. Not only that but she has texted me and checked in with us in between appointments. The support she has given us has been amazing

Dear parent,

Thank you very much for taking the time, to submit your story via care opinion.

I am delighted to hear that your heath visitor recognized quickly that your baby was experiencing distress and discomfort and took appropriate actions to secure a change of infant milk which has proved to be highly effective.

Feedback directly from parents regarding the way our health visitors work is really important as it allows us to make improvements to care delivery and/or practice when this is required and also gives us opportunities to celebrate when things have gone well and to promote good heath visiting practice.

I hope your baby continues to thrive as you become increasingly confident managing a baby with cows milk protein allergy.
