"Car Parking and Blue Badge "

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

To Whom it may concern,

i have attended the hospital on numerous occasions this year, the visit mid June i had a xray taken, and my wife was present with me. I am a blue badge holder, and because we had just acquired a new car, i took the blue badge to the security office, to get my new car registered.Unfortunately the office was closed, and we went to the main reception desk, the receptionist give us a form to fill out, and we handed the form back.I attended the cardiology department for a 24 hour ecg on the friday 11th august, then had a cardiology appointment on the 16th. ( i am recovering  from a heart attack , which i suffered at the end of June ).Yesterday i received a PCN notice, for non payment of car park charges, from the appointment of the 16th August. I have been in touch with the security office, who on investigation say my new car wasnt registered. I have had to pay a fee of Forty Pounds, which i am not very happy about, especially since i have tried to keep the vehicle registered under the blue badge scheme.I am feeling very bitter about this , so much so that I now want nothing to do with North Tees ever again, in spite of the excellent care that i have received so far. So can you assure me that any further appointments can be made at South Tees Trust, under what ever cardiologist is appointed to me.
