"Treatment for a fall."

About: St Andrews Community Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a relative),

My wife fell and damaged her knee, ankle and shin. We received exceptional treatment from Maureen and Emily at the hospital in St Andrews, Fife. Both clearly cared, were very efficient and listened carefully to points of pain, double-checking their own diagnosis. There was no fuss but clear professional competence.

Further, Maureen was a superb mentor to her trainee, quietly suggesting alternative options to Emily without belittling her and then allowing Emily to complete the treatment.  (Both are clearly compassionate professionals.) The X Ray radiography team were equally efficient and caring.

Thank you for a first class experience. The health service is in great hands with colleagues like this.

With kind regards

Dear Parkstrasse,

I am sorry to hear your wife has sustained an injury and I hope she is recovering well. I am delighted to read that the care received was of such a high standard and I will be sure to share your lovely feedback with the team at St Andrew's Minor Injury unit.

Many thanks for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback.

Kind regards,
