"Helped to feel less alone"

About: Community Forensic Services / Nottinghamshire MBT Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The support and understanding from the group facilitators (Zena & Chloe) was very helpful. I also found listening to others has helped me to feel less alone with my diagnosis and problems. The group could be triggering at times however there isn’t anything I would change.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We really value hearing about your experience of the MBTi group and it's great to hear you found it helpful. We appreciate the sessions can be difficult at times, particularly when thinking about how hard it can be to hold onto our mentalizing when feeling overwhelmed. We would hope that as time goes on in therapy, this is something that feels easier to do. I will gladly pass on your positive comments about Zena and Chloe and wish you all the best in your next step.

With best wishes,

Amy (Operational Team Leader).

Thank you for this feedback, it's lovely to hear the feedback about your facilitators, we'll make sure they get this feedback too.

As Amy said, the groups can at times be challenging/triggering but it's expected that this will ease somewhat with time and developing skill in holding onto mentalizing.

I am pleased to hear that the group nature, hearing others and knowing others have similar experiences, has been helpful and I hope this has helped prepare you for therapy.

Very best wishes, Louisa

Service Manager
