About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I went into Cannock Hospial for a decompression operation on my spine. I arrived as requested at 7 am. Completed all the paperwork and then taken to theatre for op. When I came round I was in a ward with two other ladies.  I came home two days later.

All I can say is my treatment from start to finish was second to none, absolutely great. The staff were brilliant nothing was to much bother.  The food was OK but I wasn't really in the mood for eating. I came home with supplies of medicines and dressings. If it wasn't the fact of a big op, it made a nice little holiday away from  home.  I can't praise the staff anymore than I have but they were brilliant and gave me a great send off.
