"Milestones are celebrated"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My new-born is currently in Craigavon Neonatal unit. He was born 4 weeks premature but is making steady progress. I can’t say a bad word about the team in neonatal here. Each member of staff has been genuinely caring and supportive. I feel so content leaving my baby in their hands. It has been extremely difficult, but the team are always uplifting and positive, and even the smallest milestones are celebrated. Everything else about the ward is great- facilities, cleanliness, food but it is the staff that make this place so wonderful.

Good morning Katee95

Thank you for sharing your experience of time spent in neonatal. Even though it takes time, slow and steady progress pays off and the end goal of getting your baby home gets closer!

I will share your kind words with our team who will be pleased to read your lovely comments

Regards

Una
