"Grateful thanks to all staff"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU) University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 2 from A&E in mid July. I just wanted to acknowledge the amazing care I received from ALL members of staff from day 1 until I was discharged home. They were totally dedicated,  so professional and nothing was ever a bother to them.

A special thank you to Dr McCullagh who was my first contact in A&E and then throughout my time on ward 2. His dedication and  compassion was much appreciated, especially in such a busy ward and dealing with all the challenges that face our NHS in these difficult days.

Thanks again to you all, you are a fantastic team and are making a huge difference to all the patients that come through your ward.

Dear Doff

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience. Both ward 2 and the Emergency department will be delighted with your comments. It is reassuring to read that you felt all staff were dedicated and professional. Feedback is important to us all and we learn from experiences that are shared. So thank you again for these lovely comments.

I will ensure that your feedback is shared with Dr McCullagh as again he will be pleased to know that his care and compassion were recognised and appreciated.

I hope that you are recovering well.

Kind regards

Lise
