I’d like to share my feedback about attending the Rapid access clinic in Lurgan Craigavon Area Hospital. I attended because I’ve been experiencing weakness and I’ve been unsteady on my feet and generally feeling awful. My GP referred me and the Rapid access clinic phoned me with the appointment. So I got in touch with my GP first. It all happened quite quickly, I was with the GP about a fortnight ago, then the Rapid access clinic were in touch with me 4 days later. I attended my appointment with them yesterday, it was excellent I was there for about 3 hours, I wasn’t kept waiting, everything clicked in to place nicely and they were wonderful staff, very pleasant and very understanding.
I am delighted I had the appointment and the doctor has reduced some of my medications and ongoing over a month or two so I will have to wait to see what the results of that is and how that works out but I have no complaints at all, it is a an excellent facility.
The report I have here is from Dr Houston, she was a very pleasant lady and very capable and a Filipino nurse, I don’t know her name, but she was very pleasant too. And there were two other nurses, I don’t have their names but I couldn’t say a bad word about any of the staff they were all excellent.
"I am delighted I had the appointment"
