"Very disappointed"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

30 months after the stone being detected by MRI and X-ray and being confirmed by a flexible cystoscopy, I attended the hospital for removal of the stone by laser treatment. I was very disappointed with the communication from the pre-assessment department.

I was told that the stone had greatly increased in size and it could not be removed using this method.

Dear disgruntled UTI,

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion of University Hospital Monklands, Day Surgery.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the communication from the Pre-Assessment team. I can only imagine how disappointing it must have been to discover that they were unable to remove the stone using laser treatment. We want to make things better for all our patients and all feedback is valuable to us.

It would be helpful if you could contact Patient Affairs at University Hospital Monklands so that they can understand the issues in more detail.
