About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 2 (Emergency Surgical)

(as a service user),

My daughter phoned an ambulance when my pain was Level 10 on Sunday evening. I had a heart attack weeks previous. And we were concerned about an aggressive pain in lower abdomen running through to shoulder.

Ambulance staff were prompt and very and reassuring. Neil, Jill and Ross who on admission were calm, professional and reassuring. All staff in admission, even though they were extremely busy they acted with care and professionalism.

Over the next 3 days they ensured comfort and care in a special way and team centred.

Very special thanks to Sarah, Katie and Ruth 

Excellent job.🤩🤩🤩

Having such intense abdominal pain not long after a heart attack must have been such a worrying time for you and your daughter, and I am glad an ambulance came to you quickly.

I am pleased you received a warm welcome in admissions and felt cared for. I am sure the team, especially Sarah, Katie and Ruth, will be delighted with your feedback and know they helped make a difference.
