Raiki was wonderful, it was accessed after my lumpectomy and during radiotherapy. It was a complete sense of relaxation and after every session, I felt calm and refreshed. I could feel the heat in certain areas and no two sessions were the same.

Wendy was excellent, she put me at ease and explained everything. She was great and it's a shame she is moving, as she is an asset to the team.

I would highly recommend Raiki to anybody who is undergoing any form of treatment for cancer.

Dear orangedc63

Thank you for your recommendation of reiki for our people going through a cancer diagnosis. You have had a very positive experience and I hope it encourages others to try something new.

We offer 6 free sessions of a chosen therapy to patients and their family and hope that introducing people to new experiences will encourage them to have the confidence to go on and try other forms of therapy in the community.

I hope that you will still keep popping into the centre - you will be made welcome by our lovely volunteers.
