Great hospital care

"Great hospital care"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Wheal Coates Ward

(as a relative),

My mother has had a few big problems  and the care she had up to a few weeks ago was not the best but then she got put on Wheal Coates ward at Treliske  and things changed.

The care she had there was amazing  from keeping the family updated to her needs nothing was to much trouble.   At this extremely difficult time the 2 Jade's were outstanding and a credit to the hospital, as well as Cameron the hca.  The physio and ot were a really good help as mum is partially sighted and they took that in to consideration.

Unfortunately she has now moved  to a community hospital which is not geared up for her needs  and I am concerned she will go backwards but we will see.

I am the Governance and Performance Lead for Therapies and I'm delighted to hear that the OT and Physiotherapist on Wheal Coates took your mum's sight issues into consideration when they saw her and and that they were able to help her. I have passed your feedback on to the OT and Physio on Wheal Coates and I know that they will be really encouraged to hear it. It always means a lot to the staff when they receive compliments such as yours.
