I attended the Rubislaw Ward today at AMH and unfortunately, very sadly, had my worries confirmed that I had had a complete miscarriage. I was so well taken care of by sonographer midwife Wendy, and her colleague Donna. Working in a hospital myself, I found being the patient very difficult and upsetting. However, I was put at ease as much as possible by their calm and caring manners. Wendy is kind and professional, was able to answer all of my questions and was very clear in her communication. Donna was equally so and very supportive. I hope that they can see this post so that I can thank them again for their compassion. They have given me hope too for future pregnancies, and both should be nominated for the STAR award.
