"Service received at ophthalmology Macular clinic"

About: Mater Hospital / Macular Unit

(as a carer),

I would like to record my thanks for the service my daughter received this morning at the clinic in Fairview 2 Mater hospital. My adult daughter has a rare chromosome disorder and a learning disability and appointments such as this one, can cause a high degree of anxiety. From the administration staff, the nurses to the consultant that dealt with us who treated us with respect thankyou. They were was kind, empathetic and patient with my daughter. Ensuring she understood the instructions being issued and respected her diversity. The service was quick, efficient, professional and a wholly positive experience for my daughter and myself as her carer.
