"Amazing Care"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Cardiac Surgery Vale of Leven General Hospital / Cardiology (Heart Conditions)

(as a relative),

My dad was transferred to the coronary care unit at the RAH, Paisley last week following a rapid diagnosis of a heart attack at the Vale of Leven Hospital. The care my dad received by the nursing and medical staff within the coronary care unit was exceptional. In addition the domestic and support staff never stopped, the ward was cleaned from top to bottom throughout the day.

It was clear that everyone working there took pride in the unit and care they delivered. A massive thank you. He was transferred to the golden jubilee and had his stents and home the next day just incredible 🙏 when the NHS works it just works 💗

Dear Caroline41

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was sorry to hear your dad had to be transferred to the Coronary Care Unit of the Royal Alexandra Hospital after experiencing a rapid diagnosis of a heart attack at the Vale of Leven Hospital. I can only begin to imagine how worried you and all your family must have been in this very stressful time.

I was however delighted to hear the care and treatment he received from our staff was to a high standard and he felt well cared for.

We are extremely proud of the work the team do both within the ward and our domestic staff so to hear this echoed by our patients and their families is very encouraging.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the staff who I'm sure will be touched to receive such glowing feedback.

I'm glad your dad is now back home and recovering well after his scare.

Kind regards

Kevin
