I collapsed in my home a week ago and my husband could not get me up of the floor. An ambulance was called and we where told that none was available, which meant I had to lie on the floor for six hours before an ambulance was dispatched.
I was taken straight to A&E and was seen straight away. I have had blood tests and a X-Ray carried out so far and I am getting a CT Scan tomorrow. The doctors have got to the route of the problem and since I have started medication the pain has eased to the point where I was able to go for a walk today with the help of my rollater.
All the nursing staff have been excellent and I feel that I have been given great care and attention since I arrived to Female Medical, It is a very busy ward, but nothing is too much trouble.
"Very Good Experience"
