"Frustrating treatment"

About: St Bernard's Wing / Eating Disorders (South East House)

(as the patient),

I told my therapist that I wasn't sure sure if I can add more food mentally.  They told me that they knew how many calories a day I was on and that this was good and that I could continue at this level to maintain.  This triggered me so I did not finish  the last 2 sessions.

I found them talking about the amount of exercise they took and their clothing inappropriate - something that can be a trigger for a bigger person

They appeared not to know the difference between binge and restriction.  In my view they had little experience about eating disorder and need more education about it.

I felt rushed to go from one unfinished goal to another and and was told we had to move to another stuff because there was very little time.  I was told I was better despite losing weight during treatment.

It was just frustrating
