"Staff doing a fabulous job"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy Victoria Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I was in ward 44 recently following a few days in both HDU and ward 53.

I had several scans, transfusions, ultra sounds and sigmoidoscopys follow a heart attack. Thank you to staff in endoscopy unit (especially Maria).   I was very weak coming on to ward 44 but every single member of staff and the GI team did a fabulous job in helping me stabilize. Thank you to all the ancillary staff who kept my room immaculate. The dietitians who helped and enabled me to gain an appetite.

The fantastic nursing team for whom nothing was ever a problem day or night.  The Community Occupational therapists who helped with transition home and equipment. The staff in the ward kitchen who made sure we are well and the people who cooked for me.

Most grateful to you all..
