I have been in hospital for a few weeks and am now on the 4 south ward, I just recently received surgery and hopefully all has went well.
The staff on this ward are absolutely brilliant, they treat you well and make you feel as if you are a person. They have been great at communicating with me at all times, even if its not my doctor I'm seeing a doctor still comes round and will give me update's.
I think the nurses are just fantastic, if I'm ever unsure all I have to do is ask and its never a problem they are quick to find out information.
This ward is prefect its always very clean, and I'm glad that there are bathrooms in the bay this makes it so much easier only having to share facilities with two others. As the previous wards I was on there was a lot of patients sharing the one facility, so I have been a lot more comfortable on 4 south as everything on the ward is very modern and its just a nice ward to be on.
I'm on a restricted diet but the food I have been getting has been perfect for me, I've enjoyed it. The ward staff are so lovely, they are always coming round with tea and coffee I have been made to feel very welcome.
