(as the patient),

This particular investigation was 'Nurse Led'.  Just one.  She sensed my apprehension and the whole procedure followed very smoothly.  She explained clearly and gently what would happen.  And involved me in the decisions.  Great attitude, great skill, great empathy.

I am glad to hear that the nurse was able to pick up on the fact that you were apprehensive, and I am very pleased to hear that she was able to explain what would happen clearly and gently. It is important to involve our patients in the decision making process and ensure you know exactly what to expect. I am glad that the whole procedure went smoothly and I hope you recovered well after.
