Attending hospital Mon-Fri for 4 weeks is hard but it was helped by several people. Firstly thank you to staff in Aroma coffee on the concourse and the cart. Always polite and helpful. Thank you to the friendly staff in the stock shop.
A domestic (sorry I have no name) who cleaned the toilets/corridor by the piano. We saw her most days. So cheeky and cheery. She does not know how she brightened our day.
Thank you to the amazing Friends of Anchor who met us at the radiotherapy door each morning. Always made sure my husband had enough water and tissues. Always ready with a friendly chat.
Thank you to the staff of T2. Special thanks to Jacqueline??. We first met her in Maggie's prior to my husbands treatment. Met her again in the Pre treatment scan and a couple of times during radiotherapy. She was so kind, so helpful, non judgemental, and answered all our questions and fears. Truly an angel.
Please can you pass on our thanks to all these people. They have made a very difficult time a bit more bearable
