About: Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I attended hospital for a hysterectomy. I was admitted to ward 24 after the procedure. I just want to say that the whole team of nurses who took care of me during my immediate recovery were outstanding.

Their duty of care and professionalism was second to none. I found them to be dedicated, caring, attentive, understanding and supportive. They always had time to reassure and comfort me when I required it. This team of nurses were simply brilliant.

I'd like to say a special thank you to Andrea, who is the triage nurse on the ward. She has continued and still is continuing to look after and advise me after my discharge due to minor issues. She is just fantastic.

Finally I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone. You all work above and beyond you call of duty. 

If possible can this feedback be sent to the ward please?

I am extremely pleased to hear how well looked after you felt and are continuing to feel in your recovery. Our aim is always to provide the best care possible in a compassionate and professional manner and is lovely for this to be recognised.
