About: Newham Community Health Services / Cardiac Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

My story is about the care I received following having heart surgery and 2 stents.

I was referred from Bart's Hospital to cardiac rehab service. An appointment was booked for me to see the cardiac rehab nurse John, who saw me in clinic and was very good, polite and professional.  

Following seeing him I was seen and referred to physio Abi for assessment for physio.  

Abi explained the exercise programme which I found helpful, she explained everything very well and made me feel at ease, which I have not felt in a whole while following my heart surgery. Very friendly and accommodating with her plans for my heart recovery. 

Thanks to this wonderful staff and look forward to working with both of them .
