"Looking forward to the future."

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

I started with Inclusion Thurrock in February with my therapist, Kim. I suffered with GAD (generalised anxiety disorder) and I didn’t know how to cope/resolve it.

Kim has helped me changed my life around. I have be able to do more things now without getting anxious then I would have ever imagined by Kim changing my thought process on how I look at every situation. She was respectful throughout our sessions and I really felt like she cared about helping me resolve my issues.

We set home practice tasks to do every week which gave me the confidence to be able to realise I could do new things and push myself out of my comfort zone. This really has been the best thing I have done to improve my quality of life.

I can now look forward to the future.

Hi JP,

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback regarding your time at Inclusion Thurrock. It is really great, that with the support of Kim, you feel your life has turned around. It sounds like you worked hard in changing your thought process regarding everyday situations.

Knowing that Kim was respectful and cared about supporting you throughout your therapy is really great and is what we strive for as a service. We have passed your kind words on to Kim.

It is great that the home tasks and stepping outside your comfort zone have helped you achieve things you never thought you could do.

It is also wonderful to know that you are looking forward to the future after therapy. We hope you continue to use everything you have learnt throughout your recovery journey.

We hope others reading about your experience at Inclusion Thurrock will be encouraged to seek support.

Best wishes

Heidi
